SRI SATHYA SAI BAL VIKAS GURU'S MASTER TRAINERS CAMP - WESTERN ZONE

 

 

The Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Guru's Master Trainers Camp was successfully conducted with the Blessings of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the womb of Mother Nature at Sathya Sai Pandurangkshetra, at Hadshi Village, Maharashtra.

 

The Camp for Western Zone Master Trainers took off on 9.5.2009 . The Inaugural Function was graced by Mr. Shivajirao Jadhav and Mrs. Meera Jadhav, State President of Maharashtra and Goa - Shri Ramesh Sawant and District President, Mumbai - Shri Nimish Pandya .All the four State Educational Co-ordinators ( Mahila) of States of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra were also present along with Dy. National Co-ordinator - Smt Kamala Pandya. About 42 participants attended the camp.

 

The daily programme commenced in the residential precincts of Bhagwan Baba in Sai Pandurangkshetra with Omkar, Suprabhatam and Jyoti Meditation. The session was lead each day by a participant from each of the four states. Thereafter, there was daily Veda Chanting , as per syllabus for Group I and II of Bal Vikas Programme.

 

At 9.00 a.m., the next session began with talks by a galaxy of speakers drawn from the four states , as per time table enclosed. The topics covered included the 5 Teaching Techniques, Experiential Learning, Ramayana,Ashtotra Namavalli, Suprabhatam, Gayatri Mantra, Child Psychology, Bhagwad Gita, Bhaja Govindam, 5 Elements, Ceiling On Desires, Parenting , Intuition and Role of Master Trainers etc.

 

The post lunch session each day included demonstration of practical sessions like Group I and Group II Class Demonstration, Web Charting and Mind Mapping by participants, etc.

 

The highlight of the Camp was the Camp Fire and the Experiential Learning Session by the participants integrating the five teaching techniques and highlighting the values engrained in the topic taken “ Mango “ .

 

The participants were also taken to Prathi Shirdi – a replica of Shirdi for an outing on the last but penultimate day of the Ten day camp.

 

The camp concluded with an awesome Valedictory session which was attended by Dr. B. G. Pitre, Director of Institute of Sathya Sai Education, Mumbai and Mr. and Mrs. Shivajirao Jadhav. Each of the participants was awarded the Certificate of Participation. Each State Coordinator placed their respective State Action Plan at the Lotus Feet of the Lord and the participants ended the programme with a song on Determination, promising to forge ahead in the march of Bal Vikas and ensure that every home becomes a Bal Vikas class and every parent - a Balvikas Guru.
