I was wondering about a suitable day to perform prayers and wear the rudraksha. After some research on net, I have found that rudraksha can be worn on any Monday or during Solar/lunar Eclipse or NewMoon. So, I had decided to wear this on Friday 18/09/09. My mum is not happy with the chosen date as it falls on Mahalaya Amavasya. Please advice if 18/09/09 suitable as it is a new moon day or suggest me a good date in the near future. Thanks.
