peripheral neuropathy.

Hi to all. New member excited to find another group of interest to

me in ,s wide span of topics. If it,s not mower repairs or

craftwork,gardening then it is something else to delve into. The

reason I am excited is that it was highlighted in a box at ,s

home and I thought that is what may be the answer in some way to

easing my peripheral neuropathy which has given me curry now for

some years. Have just come off nicotinic acid which only succeeded

in giving me [Male] hot flushes and my doctors have stated that it,s

the penalty you have to pay for all my years of alcohol abuse. I

feel that after 3 years of abstinence and loving it that perhaps he

could perhaps do a little more seeing I promise to be good.

I am a married male 62 yo. reasonably active but cannot wear shoes

for any length of time. Difficult to sleep

although a tramal tab helps.

I am a Naturopathic Medical Doctor and have had some success

treating peripheral neuropathies with high doses of the B vitamins

given IV.You can find a physician in your area who does those by

seeking out the American College for the Advancement of Medicine-ACAM

at 1-800-337-9918.Other than that I would strongly suggest a

podiatrist or a suitable technique that involves massage of your feet

I just read somewhere else that borage oil

produced dramatic results for peripheral neuropathy!

Other similar oils work well too, but

I understand borage was the best.

And cheaper than evening primrose.

What is neurontin?
