Introduction

Hi All!

My name is Sandy Horner and I am currently practicing as a massage therapist

in Menomonie, WI. I am new to massage (been practicing for a year, while I

am still completing my massage training.) I have been drawn to the

body-mind-spirit connection through a series of (very positive)

synchronistic events in my life. It has been a great path, of which I still

have much to learn. I learned energy work from a man who trained with

Barbara Brennen, at a time where I thought " this is nice...I wonder when

I'll ever use it? " Now that I am doing bodywork, I find that I use what I

learned many times during each day.

Reader's Digest Condensed Bio: 41 years old, 4 year old daughter. Live in

the country, where my hubby and I grow medicinal herbs and in the spring,

tap about 1200 trees to make the nectar of the gods. (That's maple syrup,

for the uninitiated!) I do some Desktop Publishing (4 newsletters) and some

web site design. Spent 8 years as a professional musician (singer,

guitarist) playing the hotel circuit. Enjoyed it, but didn't care much for

the life I envisioned when I was 50 if I kept abusing myself like that.

I am also a member of the Bodywork list and am enjoying seeing many of the

same folks on both. It's kinda like going to a party where you don't think

you'll know anyone, and spotting a friend. I will probably lurk more than

contribute. I have much to learn, and find that often it is best for me to

just listen and learn. I thank you all for your wisdom and willingness to

share.
