ajna chakra and atma vichara

Couple questions on these topics

Ajna Chakra: I notice (with a little bit of focussing) an oblique shape of some

sort that moves in the direction of my vision. I can see it only in daytime

(bright light) against a white background or a bright background. Not sure if

this is the Ajna chakra. Would anyone like to comment?

I also notice specs of white light (which I have noticed since I was a

teenager) kinda like fireflies, but very very tiny.

What are these specs? I typically notice them when I focus against the bright

sky or bright daylight.

Atma Vichara: In my practice, I

1) Breathe in, stomach expands and while breathing in think of "WHO AM I",

2) Hold my breath, thinking of myself as SOHAM and trying to detach myself from

the body and attaching myself to be a blob centered in the heart center

3) Breathe out (stomach contracts) with the thought "I AM NOT THIS BODY"

I don't really stress myself with deep breathing, but it is gentle.

My attention does wonder. Would someone have suggestions to enhance this.

Web Links would be fine, but I am hoping to get some personal insight fromyour practise.

Thanks

SB

Om Namo Bhagavathe Sri Ramanaaya

Dear Sri Shivabhakta,

Wonderful to know that you're practising the Atma vichara.

The answer to your query is contained at the end of your post.

Practise, practise, and practise!

Keep it up!!!

I also experience this phenomena. It is (as far as I am aware), bits of eye

membrane and fluid on the cornea of the eye. Irregular shapes move in the

vision just as you describe, in bright daylight, as the eye moves. A purely

physical phenomena. Sorry, no chakra effect here!
