Enneads for Clinton/Obama

The Ennead is coming through again for the Pennsylvania primary. Like other

past enneads, the charts strongly support Hillary's 8:02 a.m. time of

birth. As expected, Hillary carried Pennsylvania, and with a 10 point

margin. Ennead: April 2, 2008, 6:57:32 a.m. Chicago.

 

Hillary's natal Rahu falls in the Ennead 1st house.

Transiting Jupiter conjoins the ennead M.C.

Transiting Sun is in the degree of Hillary's natal part of fortune.

Natal Venus is on the descendent.

Ennead Moon is with Rahu (and Neptune) in the 10th.

 

Obama's Ennead clearly tells a different story (April 2, 2008 9:55:23 p.m.,

Honolulu):

 

Transiting Ketu is in the zenith degree conjoining natal Rahu.

The Ennead M.C. is between Saturn and Ketu.

Ennead Saturn squares natal Moon on the descendent.

 

Looking ahead to the convention: Using the enneads, I see the possibility

that Clinton and Obama will come out of the convention as running mates.

Obama has the stronger chart for the convention period, but Hillary's is

not entirely weak. Venus is angular in both ennead charts, and the two

charts are mirror images of each other with very interesting natal

overlaps. Because of the positions of their natal Suns--almost a perfect

9th harmonic relationship--the Clinton/Obama enneads will always begin

within hours of each other.

 

Thus one person's solar return will have the same transits as the other

person's ennead, and all other ennead charts will match, but with different

houses and different natal relationships to the angles. This is all very

fascinating. I see the two of them as tightly linked together in the

destiny of America. I don't think either one will disappear.

Hi Felicia,

 

I expect almost every astrologer might have the same question, except for

some older siderealists who were active in the sidereal community 30 years

ago. I've discussed this chart recently, but I think mostly on another forum.

 

The Ennead divides the solar return year into nine sections of about 40

days each, and highlights the major planetary configurations for that

period of time. I've never progressed these charts, but have seen that

transits during the 40 days have an effect on the chart. Especially lunar

transits are important. 'Ennead' means nine or a group of nine, and is

related to the navamsa or ninth harmonic chart that is used so much by

Jyotish astrologers.

 

Lunar returns are fairly popular among astrologers, but I've found the

Ennead chart to be more descriptive and powerful. The first ennead of the

year is the solar return chart itself. As I've mentioned before--don't

remember which forum--the ennead was discovered by siderealist Donald

Bradley shortly before his death. It's discussed extensively in Jim

Eshleman's book INTERPRETING SOLAR RETURNS ((1979). It's typically read by

placing the natal chart inside the ennead chart, and especially noting

which planets fall on the Ennead angles or closely aspect the angles by

major aspect.

 

Solar Fire computes the Ennead by choosing 'Advanced and Ingress--Options'

under the 'Return and Ingress' menu, and then typing 9 in the harmonic

selection box. (Solar Fire defaults to 1 in that box.)
