Default Sanskrit Flash Cards - 1 of 2 - 07-07-2008, 06:00 PM

Attached are 10 Pages -- Part 1 of 2

It is a MS Word Doc.

Printed out as double sided [Back to Back] to from 5 pages.

Tip print-out unto card stock before cutting the sheets into 8 cards per each sheet.

Part 1 and 2 contain a total of 80 Flash Cards with more than a 100 common phrases in sanskrit.

So start soon --we all have a lot of catching up before we will be saying "Hello" & "How do you do?" & "Thank you" & "Good Morning" & count from 1 to 10 to a million, etc.

-------------------------------------------------------------
It's in english on one side and written in sanskrit on the other side.
I got the phrases from The Book by Hari-Venu Prabhu's Book "Sanskrit Grammer" [He's a german Iskcon Brahmacaryi].

[NOTE: Your computer must have the 'Indr' or some other Sanskrit Font installed for the Devanagari to print out properly]

This is all free to who ever would like to learn sanskrit common speech phrases.

ys,
Bhaktajan

Priya Prabhuji,

If the devanagari is legibly shown and visable then you good to go--the purpose is to use the cards as a learning aide.

The 20 pages of the Flash cards are formated so that page 1 is the front side --and page 2 is the back side of page 1--when printed out back-to-back, so as to have 10 pages --then each double-sided page must be cut into the 8 cards --which can then be utilized as "Flash-Cards".

Again these words, terms, pronouns, numerals, and common sayings are directly taken from the Devanagari and English translations as listed in "Sanskrit Grammer" by Hari-Venu.

<< Please confirm if you are successfull in arrainging the print out and cutting of the (80) cards. >>

.................................................. .................................
The flash cards defined:

flash card (flāsh'kārd')
<!--BOF_HEAD-->n. <!--EOF_HEAD--><!--BOF_DEF-->A card printed with words or numbers and briefly displayed as part of a learning drill.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
[For the form of digital memory sometimes called a "Flash Card", see Flash memory.]

A flashcard or flash card is a card that is used as a learning aid.
One writes a question on a card and an answer overleaf.
Flashcards can bear vocabulary, historical dates, formulas or
any subject matter that can be learned via a question and answer format.
Flashcards are widely used as a learning drill to aid memorization by way of spaced repetition.

Please confirm if you are successfull in arrainging the print out and cutting of the (80) cards.

Below is a sample of the MS Word Document attached 1 & 2 [of 2 attachments] that has a total of twenty pages--each is paired and numbered to align back to back [color back ground will print if your printer does color printing].
