[thoth-l] THOTH--Seminar Update (URGENT)

THOTH

-A Catastrophics Newsletter-

SUPPLEMENT: SEMINAR UPDATE

SEMINAR: "Our Violent Solar System"

DATE: September 22-24, 2000

PLACE: Portland Airport Sheraton, Portland, Oregon

REGISTRATION: $145

TO REGISTER: Call Toll Free: 877-726-1102

This urgent update concerns our September seminar and some exciting

additions to our speaker list: Plasma cosmologist Tony Peratt,

astronomer Halton Arp, astronomer Tom Van Flandern, geologist Robert

Schoch--these and other added speakers will give this event a broader

impact than we had originally envisioned. To accommodate a larger group

if necessary, we will be adding to our seating capability. Please note

that the event is only a month away, and we urge you to act quickly to

secure a reservation.

SPEAKERS (in alphabetical order)*

Amy Acheson, editor of the electronic newsletter, THOTH. Amy is known

for her accurate and persuasive summaries of Dr. Halton Arp's work and

the work of Wallace Thornhill (the "electric universe")

Mel Acheson, whose editorials are a regular feature in THOTH.

Alan Alford, author three books, GODS OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM, THE PHOENIX

SOLUTION, and WHEN THE GODS CAME DOWN. In recent years, he has become an

advocate of Tom Van Flandern's "exploded planet" hypothesis

Michael Armstrong, lecturer on the electric universe and the Saturn

model

Halton Arp, one of the world's most respected astronomers, whose

systematic observations of unusual galaxies challenge the Big Bang and

much of modern cosmology. Author SEEING RED, QUASARS, REDSHIFTS, AND

CONTROVERSIES, and ATLAS OF PECULIAR GALAXIES

Dwardu Cardona, editor, "AEON, A Journal of Myth, Science, and Ancient

History"

Ev Cochrane, publisher "AEON, A Journal of Myth, Science, and Ancient

History;" author MARTIAN METAMORPHOSES

Ted Holden. His lectures on "The impossible dinosaurs" were among the

most popular at our prior world conferences. Dinosaurs were simply too

large to survive under present gravity, he claims

Anthony Peratt, perhaps the most respected of today's pioneers in the

study of subtle energy and plasma cosmology; author PHYSICS OF THE

PLASMA UNIVERSE and numerous articles

Robert Schoch, geologist, author VOICES OF THE ROCKS: A SCIENTIST LOOKS

AT CATASTROPHES AND ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS. His analysis of erosion of

the Sphinx has sparked a major controversy relating to the date of its

construction

Donald Scott, retired professor of electrical engineering. In addition

to giving a presentation on the "electric sun," he will be the emcee of

our seminar

David Talbott, author of THE SATURN MYTH. His research has been the

primary catalyst behind the "Saturn model," and his work is the subject

of the feature documentary, "Remembering the End of the World"

Wallace Thornhill, Australian physicist. His work, featured on the CD,

"the Electric Universe," provides the broadest synthesis of electrical

principles, offering a new vantage point on solar system history, the

dynamics of the sun, and the nature of galaxies.

Tom Van Flandern, astronomer, former head of the Naval Observatory,

author DARK MATTER, MISSING PLANETS & NEW COMETS. His "exploded planet"

hypothesis has emerged as one of the major contenders in modern

catastrophics

ADDITIONAL SPECIAL GUESTS: as part of our scholarly and scientific

outreach, several additional guests will be present as observers,

including a linguist, an Egyptologist, a professor of classics, and

others centers of influence. As we continue this outreach your personal

recommendations will always be welcome. Send your suggestions for

consideration in future planning to: liaison
