1. Encl Goravani's Sanskrit gossary, 2. Qn on copyrt violns RE: Compiling Sanskrit words - to Abhilekh
Dear Abhilekha & others
Please note that www.goravani.com has a Sanskrit-astro dictionary (called
glossary), which could be your starting point for your exercise. Wanted to
just give u this reference, but cd not find it when I browsed the site just
now. Has to be there somewhere, as I got it originally from there. However,
as cd not find it, am attaching it.
I hope someone cd also throw some light on copyright violation issues in
all this. What's the ethical/ legal stand on all this? If I quote the
source & provide/ copy something on the List/ Net, is it OK? Does it make a
difference if it is "as-is" vs "summarised/ edited" & mentioned as such?
Does it make a difference if it is a restricted List (eg SJVC), & hence,
not for public consumption? Does anyone know/ understand the issues
involved in all this?
Best wishes
Nandan
