Default "Dvandva" in Life

Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar swamiji,
Om Namo Narayanaya

I also have the same feeling as Sri. Vijay raghavan has. I got this feeling
after reading Sri. Ramanuja's Bhagavad Gita vyakhyana about Karma yOga.

Sri. Krishna has said that one has to do his "Vihita Karma or Vaidhika Karma". I
am born as a brahmin but I am working as a software Engineer in Bangalore. I am
really not satisfied with what I am doing. I am also married and have a 3 year
old daughter. I want to lead a simple life doing service to God, learning
Vedhas, Upanishads, Divya prabhandam.

I am feeling to server god by learn Agama Shastra and worship God, first by
becoming disciple to a Guru like Sri. Swamigal.

The work I am doing is just a cheap labour to a MNC company and it doesnot do
any good to our country or our people. I don't have peace of mind with this
mechanical way of life in a city. I want to got to places like Melukote,
Tirupathi or any village where I can lead a simple life. I have read that Sri.
Vedantha Desikar lead a simple life. He used to do Bhikshatane just to save his
and his families life and did Srimanna Naryana Seva all through his life.

Please englighten me from this "Dvandva" in Life.

QUESTION)
Subject: "Dvandva" in Life
Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar swamiji,

ANS:
HAVING INTEREST IN DEVOTIONAL ACTIVITIES AND SPIRITUAL LINE IS REALLY WONDERFUL.
IF DOES NOT MEAN THAT ONE SHOULD GIVE UP HIS WORLDLY DUTY TO EARN AND LEAD THE
LIFE. IF THERE IS PLENTY OF WEALTH THEN IT IS OK, OR OTHERWISE, ONE HAS TO EARN
FOR THE SAKE OF SURVIVAL, RIGHT! ONE SHOULD NOT BECOME A BURDEN TO OTHER
PERSON, WHOSOEVER THEY MAY BE, FOR ONES SURVIVAL. ONE SHOULD BE STANDING ON ONES
OWN FOR THAT PURPOSE, FOR WHICH A JOB IS INEVITABLE. WHILE DOING THAT THERE IS A
WAY TO DO THAT, ONE SHOULD UNDERGO THAT PROCESS. LORD SRIKRISHNA, IN FACT,
EXPLAINED THAT ONLY TO MR.ARJUNA, TO WAGE THE WAR. AT THE END ARJUNA GOT
CONVINCED AND STARTED FIGHTING, LIFTING HIS DROPPED BOW AND ARROW. DOING SO,
ONE CAN SQUEEZE SOME TIME FOR LEARNING PURPOSE AND TEACING PURPOSE ALSO. THAT IS
ONLY THE WAY, GOD IS PLEASESD WITH. DO NOT THINK THAT YOU STILL CAN GIVE UP
YOUR JOB AND BEG ALMS. VEDANTHA DESIKA SWAMY'S TIME WAS DIFFERENT AND PRESENT
SCINARIO IS DIFFERENT. THEN PEOPLE USED TO OBSERVE MANY A THING AND WERE LIKED
TO OFFER ALMS. NOW, IF YOU GO LIKE THAT, THEY SCOLD AND PUSH YOU TO GO FOR A JOB
AND EARN. TIME HAS BEEN CHANGED DRASTICALLY, NOW.
