AdiyEn had the Bhagyam in participating in the "Kunkumap poo" Kaappu Saatrudhal for Thaan Aana ThirumEni of Baghavath Raamaanujar in Srirangam.Under the supervision of Temple officials, Sumptuous quantity of High Quality Saffron was collected and the same was made into a paste with

Pachchai karpooram for embalming the Swayam ThirumEni.

 

Even after 870 years of His attaining Paramapadham, the Thejas is unbelievable, and was a scintillating experience.

 

For info, the Swayam ThirumEni requires this Embalming to be done atleast twice in a year.Volunteers may contribute in kind to the Srirangam Dewasthanam and obtain a receipt for the qty offered.

The most preferred variety is the Spanish saffron under the Tajmahal brand.
