Default A redection in medication would be great - 11-05-2006, 11:34 PM

Hi I'm Tim, 49. I'm taking 3 kinds of pain killers. Vicodin every 6 hrs, 800
mg of Neurontin every 6 hrs, 100 mg of Amitriptyline at night. All for 2 1/2
years all for PHN, it's nerve damage from shingles on the left side of my
head. No cure expected.

Also 15-30 mg per day of Prednisone for ulcerative colitis for over 20
years. No cure expected. I'm taking 70 mg of Fisomax once a week for the bone loss
caused by the Prednisone.

It would help if I was taking something for my very bad ADD but I'm taking
too much now and the Wellbutrin I once took made me too week and tiered. The
pain killers make me tiered and dizzy at times and the Prednisone is bad on
the energy system. And I have a very hard job of running my one man tree care
service for 20 years. It includes climbing in big trees.

Even the doctors say half of this RX is very bad to be on. If anyone has any
recommendations would love to hear it.

Thanks, Tim

Check out medicine as meditation it s great book. One is the meditations perscribed for pain was kirtan kriya, can be found online Also, there are meditations in the book for stomach problems. A raw food diet, lots of salads, nuts, carrot juice, no bread or meat might help in many of these areas try it for one week and assess how you feel. -Chris
