The answer is yes. But listen to the below link first.

Stuffy, irritated, sneezy? or clear. The only part of our brain that
makes contact with the outside world is in the Nose. It is also the only

other place in our body that has erectile tissue. Hmmmmmmm

More later on postures

Listen to this NPR segment for a very interesting story

I often get really sick during the year with sinus problems.
Keeps me to bed for at least a week everytime...

I also have psoriasis, wich my chinese medecine doctor told me are related
issues. Chinese medecine didnąt solved my psoriasis problem,
so I guess the sinus problem will also come back soon :/
what a pitty...

Metaphysical healer Louise L.Hay says that sinus problem
often occurs when we are close to people who disturb us...

well, if anyone knows better, let me know!

My speakers aren't working. Is the story in print? I have sinus troubles
too.

The story is not in print. It illustrates the deep connectedness between
one's emotions, passion and frustration with the nose/sinus. In polite
(Euro-Western) culture a nose is good for blowing and that's about it.
It's thought of as something primal or close to the ground.

Exercise number 7 from the Men's wake up series (see below) brought
about relief for me. It is something to be experienced. To understand
why it works, one needs to connect a few dots. The psychology of Sex and
Success are identical, according to Yogiji. Accepting that and
understanding that the sinuses also swell during sexual excitement gets
you a little further along. Also, do you remember the expression "he
took it on the nose" as a way of describing disappointment or failure?
My brain just did a freeze! You have to go deep on this one by yourself.
Let me know what you (Ya'll) think.....and fix your speakers. It may be
incredibly simple.
Ah, another thought/observation...when we are mentally or emotionally
overloaded then the sinuses act up. Keep a victorious attitude. Deep
constitutionals from homeopathy can help get things uncovered. It's
another process. Don't just medicate this one away.

4. Cobra pose w/ tongue out and eyes wide open
5. Cat – cow 3 mins
6. Baby pose
7. Triangle pose with alternate limbs held for 3 mins. Switch sides

I live along the Mississippi valley where we are below sea level and everyone
in this area has sinus problems. I used to have headaches more than not when
I first moved to the area and I'd buy sinus remedies every couple of weeks to
try to control the headaches. I started using peppermint essential oil (from
YoungLiving) and I no longer have to take any pain medication. It was
advised to rub some on the back of your neck and along the nose....careful
not to get any in the eyes, but from my own experimenting, I found the best
solution to put one drop on two cotton balls and place in each ear. The head
is soon permeated with the peppermint odor and the headache quickly relieved.
Anyway, it works for me.
Best,
Diane

-My book on Chinese medicine says that sinus problems result when the
immune system is weakened. For me this is true. I have found taking
an immune booster at the first sign of sinus problem works well. (I
take Esberitex by Enzmatic Therapy).

Yeah Kartar Kaur,
Having a strong "immune system" (physical) and having a clear and
strong sense of self (emotional - mental), with the capacity to embrace
what is "the self" and to clear what is the "not self", are the same.
When we are overloaded and overwhelmed on any level, we have been
violated. It makes sense that if we help the physical sense of immunity,
then we also help ourselves on the other levels and vice versa. It's all
intertwined.
All of our thoughts, feelings and actions need to lead to happiness. If
we are on some path other than one that serves that happiness, we need
to stop the wheel and get off.
Ya gotta do yoga (Sadhana).....and really do it.

Sinus problems, congestion, catarrh, colds, flue can also be a sign of
unresolved grief. According to TCM (traditional Chinese medicine), grief is
held in the lungs. That has also been my experience in working with clients
in a healing capacity.
