Merry Meet!
I am also a newcomer--not only to the mailing list, but to the whole yoga
realm. I'm not really sure of what's going on yet within the mailing list
because I am not one to "lurk", per se...Anyway, I was wondering if anyone
had any good book recommendations, had any online resources, etc. I went to
Border's yesterday and thumbed through the "Kundalini Yoga" book...although
I, unfortunately, am experiencing a serious fund shortage and may have to
check it out at my local library. I've been reading a book called "Basic Yoga
for Everybody" by Gertrud...something or other ...which
includes a deck of mix and match cards with positions that are color coded
and numbered. I know from experience with my magickal studies that you can
get wonderful books on the subject or you can get a bound and published,
steaming pile of something else... I personally think that this is a
wonderful little set, but I also know close to nothing yet (I'm here hoping
that will change) on the subject. Has anyone read it?
I am a Wiccan, (or Witch, Pagan, whatever you'd like to call it) therefore my
spiritual or magickal name is something that I pick myself after much inward
reflection. (And it may help to explain my funny lingo...)
Sunraes, Moonbeams, and Bright Blessings,
Aurora Silvermane
