....There but for the grace of God (and His devotees) go I.
1) along with the need for deep fulfilling friendships between devotees
2) is a challenging service,
3) a personal mission,
4) a clear focus of what one is doing in life/ both preaching and lifestyle.
5) hear + chant/ memorise the specific nectar that sustains one's attraction
for the spiritual world.
6) such topics must be carefully chosen to steal the mind and transport it
to the dhama.
7) additionally one should by following the instructions of the previous
acharyas, investigate/ and fully understand the anarthas which plague and
prevent one from attaining the taste for the spiritual world.
8) with a view to attaining 5-7, one should bond with a like minded devotee
and help them to hear and chant similarly (see sb 3.25.25), (12.12.48)
12.12.50, madhya 25.278, adi.13.123
9) both such topics (nectar as well as specific anartha nivriti) should be
heard even for a few minutes a day will sustain and motivate one's efforts.
10) Simply maintaining a flock is likely to be less enlivening
11) than reaching out to bring Krishna consciousness to nondevotees.
