The jewel-ornament of the multitude of worlds, the most wonderful jewel of all,
the pastime-jewel of the daughter of King Janaka, the crown-jewel of gods; the
touchstone jewel of the world of bhaktas, the daylike jewel for the lotuslike
devotees, and Kausalya’s jewel of a son--may He be your auspiciousness.

gopi-locana-santi-karana-manih saundarya-mudra-manih |
yah kanta-mani-rukmini-kuca-mani-dvandvaika-bhusa-manih
sreyo deva-sikha-manir disatu vo gopala-cudamanih || 77 ||
The gemlike Garuda to the snake of devotees’ misfortune, the gem of protection
for the three worlds, the gem to pacify the lotus eyes of the gopis, the signet
gem of beauty, the gem between the two gemlike breasts of that gem of lovers
Rukmini, the crest-gem of gods, the crown gem of cowherds--may He show you
superexcellence.
