Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Jaya
Sri Guru and Gauranga! Jaya Sri Vraja Mandala ki jay!

VIHE is happy to announce that this year after Kartik Semester in Vrindavan
(see http://vihe.org/kartik.htm) we are scheduled to begin our first Japa
Retreat in Varshana.

We are going to reside at Varshana, visiting places like Ter Kadamba
(Sanatana Gosvami's bhajan place in the forest), Ucchagaon (Lalita Devi's
residence), Maur Kutir to chant in these special sites. The whole retreat,
as the title suggests, is focused on quality japa. Special classes/workshops
related to the Holy Name will be given by HH Sacinandana Swami, HG Bhurijana
Prabhu and other senior devotees.

The dates are November 10 through November 15. All serious aspirants are
invited. To register or to find out more details, please write to
vihe (AT) pamho (DOT) net. Only the registered devotees will be admitted to the
Retreat. There are special concessions for those who attend also the
Govardhan Retreat.

Our sixth *Govardhan Retreat* is scheduled to run from November 17 through
24. This is an intense spiritual program aiming at a deep personal
transformation through the mercy of the five most potent forms of devotional
service. We stay at the lap of Sri Govardhan and, besides a sweet morning
program and delightful evening kirtans interspersed with Gaura-lila, we have
two long sessions/workshops with Krsna-katha in the forest near the merciful
Giriraj. The main teachers are HH Sacinandana Swami, HG Bhurijan Prabhu, and
HG Jagattarini Mataji, with guest teachers like HH Bhakti Vijnana Gosvami,
HG Madhavananda Prabhu and possibly others. Special topics for the previous
years included: Difficulties as Krsna's mercy; Qualities of Krsna; Holy Name
as our main practice; Going beyond mechanical chanting; Trees of Vrindavan;
Birds of Vrindavan; Visiting Holy Dhama; Bhagavatam as a solution and many
others. We also visit some special places in the area of Giriraj. You can
get unlimited mercy of Sri Govardhan.
