Default Panchanga - 03-08-1999, 05:44 PM

Dear Masha,
I am not sure what your request was for .The technical term for
the Vaisnava calendar is Panchanga (pancha means five and anga means limb or
part) The five parts are Vara(day of the week),tithi(lunar day),karana(half
a tithi),nakshatra and yoga .As for which Panchanga to use I can only say to
use the GBC authorized program produced by Markendeya Rsi(HKS) and now
available as freeware .

Your Servant
Yadu Srestha
