Default Devotional toys - 07-30-2002, 01:14 AM

Gopal-Soft-Toys
The only dolls of its kind handcrafted with love in Mayapur

A child without a toy is like a garden without a flower.

Soft (Stuffed) Toys and dolls made of Swiss cotton, non-fading Fabric of
pleasing colors and designs. These toys are stuffed with Recon
(Non-allergic Polyester Fiber) permitting the Toy to be soft and at the
same time to retain its shape for a very long period.
We now make a variety of dolls for devotees of all ages.
We use themes from Gopal Krishna's Pastimes as well as Gauranga Mahaprabhu.
The hands as well as feet have detailed markings on them for the child to
learn from these educational toys.

Krishna, Balaram, Radha, Nimai and Nitai stand 19 inches tall, are very
durable, soft to touch and surface washable.
We take great care in our Production. Only best available materials are
used. We do not use paint but embroider the face, hands and other special
decorations on our dolls. The embroidery is done with colorfast thread,
which makes the dolls surface washable.
The garlands and necklaces are individually matched to the different color
dresses.
We use only pure Vrindaban Tulasi neck beads.
All of our dolls have real ankle-bells and earrings.
For the safety of very young children, the earrings are removable.
Krishna wears a peacock feather on his turban and even has a real bamboo
flute.

"Uddhava used to play with dolls in the form of Krishna, he would serve the
dolls by dressing, feeding and worshiping them, and thus he was constantly
absorbed in the play of transcendental realization."

"So Mira appreciated. Her life is also very excellent. Her father gave her
a small Krishna doll to play, and she developed love for Krishna as
husband."

"Maharaja Pariksit, the grandson of the Pandavas, was from his very
childhood a great devotee of the Lord. Even while playing with dolls, he
used to worship Lord Krishna by imitating the worship of the family Deity."

Srila Prabhupada

I will be in Vrindaban for the Kartik Festival.
