This historical festival in Mäyäpur will bring thousands of devotees from
around the world to take association from hundreds of Çréla Prabhupäda's own
disciples, and to relish the sweet pastimes of Çréla Prabhupäda at this time
of celebration of so many glorious events.

This is another example of the mercy of Their Lordships Çré Païca-tattva,
who have manifested at Mäyäpur in Their magnificent 7ft deity form. By now
everyone has heard and seen of these wondrous pastimes of Çré Caitanya
Mahäprabhu and His eternal associates. Once more They are gathering devotees
together so they can relish the pastimes of the Lord in the association of
His dear devotees.

Kanai Natshala Festival:

The year 2005 is very special for the followers of Çré Gauräìga Mahäprabhu,
as it is the 500th anniversary celebration of Mahäprabhu's taking initiation
from Çréla Éçvara Puré at Gaya, where Mahäprabhu had gone to offer sraddha
to His father, Jagannath Misra.

On the way back to Navadwip, Mahäprabhu saw Kåñëa at Kanai Natshala,
situated at the bank of Ganga-devi, on top of a small hill. This is the
place where Lord Gauräìga manifested His love for Kåñëa in separation. When
He came back to Navadwip He had completely changed-a different Nimai then
before His trip to Gaya.


At Kanai Natshala there is footprint of Kåñëa. Fortunately this most
glorious place has been donated to ISKCON by the person left in charge, one
very old sadhu from the Ramanuja sampradaya. ISKCON has built a very nice
temple with deities of Rädhä-Kåñëa and Lord Gauräìga Mahäprabhu. There are
also guesthouse facilities. It is a very beautiful location, set upon a
small hill overlooking Çré Ganga-devi.

There will a grand festival with the participation of devotees from all over
the world. The day after Gaura Purnima, devotees will proceed to Kanai
Natshala by bus. On the way we will stop at Ekacakra-dhäma to see the places
of childhood pastimes of Lord Nétyänanda, and at Ramakeli to see the sites
made holy by Çré Rupa and Çré Sanatana Goswämés. There devotees can take
darshan of Çré Çré Rädhä Madan-mohan, the deities of Sanatana Goswämé, and
the place where he was kept under arrest by Nawab Hussain Shah. At this
place there is also the footprint of Çré Caitanya Mahäprabhu.
