I have a question regarding how they are viewed. I have body art and am considering getting Hanuman added to my works. Now Hanuman is often depicted as having a tattoo of Lord Rama on his chest as a sign of his devotion. I guess my question would be how do most people view this practice and would it be viewed as disrespectful.

I don't think there is anything wrong with them as long as they are done with the right mindset.....If the tattoo will help you remember to love and serve Lord Krishna then there should be no objection.
