Hi,

In answer to your statement/question. I was raised by
a Catholic and Baptist family, which translated into
going to church every day of the week. By the time I
was 18 and out of the house I was so over religion.
Finding Astanga has improved my spiritual and mental
health. I pray best, longest and deepest when I am in
my moving meditation - Astanga.

For me without the inner practice I couldn't have wouldn't have stayed
consistent through injuries (healed by more practice and practicing with more
listening). Without the inner I wouldn't have started in the first place it's
too confronting.

physically demanding practice, I wanted to get your thoughts on this
issue. Is the physical aspect what you most value? What do you
perceive to be the mental and spiritual benefits of this practice?

Please email me directly if you would like to share your thoughts.
