Yes, the ego is still struggling and pleading with Amma
To do what it wants
To make it( the ego ) spiritual
To heal/change this person or that

To make this forum a sacred sanctuary
But then without your challenging posts
Would these words emerge?

But, it is definitely too late to leave Amma
For Amma Kali has a noose around my ego's neck
And is chasing "me" with a sharp scimitar

Ego knows it is doomed and is pleading for an easy death
To Wake up on a sunny morning without "me"

My blessings for you Tom,
is that Amma Kali also put your ego out of its miseries soon

one word of friendly warning:
what we project on others unjustly/erroneously
karmically has to come to us. Amma said so in some story.

Not that you've left, but that you're "primed" for it because of the
3rd trait common to those who've left. I DID give you credit for
japa, which may provide enough punya to keep you from a complete
quitting when the time comes.

It's good karma that sustains false beliefs or insufficient devotional
practices.
