An ardent and long time devotee Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Ghooi resides in Prashanthi
Nilayam and volunteers her services as the head of the Gynaecology Department of
the General Hospital in Puttaparthy, India. She holds doctorates in allopathic,
ayurvedic, and homeopathic medicine, and is certified in acupuncture.In her
practice of medicine, she brings the depth of her love of Sai Baba and His
Divine Teachings. Dr. Ghooi is the adopted daughter of the late Dr. V.K. Gokak,
former Vice Chancellor of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, under
whose auspices she wrote her first book, "Spirituality and Health." In all of
her books, including "Bhakthi and Health," and "Vedantic Method and Virtuous
Children," Dr. Ghooi incorporates spiritual wisdom along with medical
knowledge.
