Dear Eric:
Your explanation was quite articulate. I appreciate your insight.
The lemon and grape example you offer can be meditated upon.
Amma starts evey Satsang bowing to everyone in the hall. This is
because She see's "us" as brahman or pure consciousness manifesting
as objects. Amma sees the unity in diversity. We are part and
parcel of Her holy limbs.
There is no doubt that Amma or any Realized Mahatma is in-
comprehensible to personages (like me)tormented by the MIND/BODY/EGO
complex. Swami Vivekananda aptly called this the "apparent man" Who
then is Real?
I sm walking about in a daze within a mirage.
Nevetheless Brahman is Brahman. Brahman alone Is. Ouspensky
said "EVERYTHING IS" Cutting edge quantum physics unification
theorists are scientifically validating the ancient Rishis and the Rg
Veda's claims.
Gold is gold. We may make it into a ring. Another may craft gold
into a bracelet. Some dental crowns are made of gold. Onc
can view gold as representing terror if viewed to be a golden sword
or golden bullet. Melt them down, Eric. What remains?
A lemon, a grape and/or a human body are primarily composed of H2O.
Go deeper and you will find that within their sub-stratum they are
consciousness or Chit. "Chit" is appearing as the many.
Consciousness is appearing as grape, lemon and gold, as well as you
and I.
Brahman alone is. Amma alone is.
So ... for practical purposes plumber John will interact with
customer GeorgeSon. If GeorgeSon needs a plumber I will not call a
gardener. If my sink backs up I need a plumber. This and that must
be done for practical purposes. I cannot sit in my bedroom
meditating 24/7. A job is necessary to pay the plumber etc etc.
We need to function properly within a empirical dream.
For practical purposes we do our best within the confines of
dream/illusion.
Om Peace Peace.
