Why did you have such a concept in the first place? Many saints and even
Avatars have met with violent deaths.
Rick, she has been attacked many times, and she was able to drink poison,
step on poison thorns and so on, without effect. There's a sense that God will
protect her because of her goodness. that she will anticipate things and
dissipate them. The Goddess is omniscient and omnipotent, no? Am I the only
one who
thought this? Avram, stymied

Namah Shivaya
This child believes that Mother will stay safe. I agree that if
something happens to Mother it will be because She allows it. Just as
Christ allowed it, and other mahatmas. My take on it is that it is kind
of like Mother taking our karma - She takes what She can, but sometimes
can't take it all. If it is meant that She should leave Her body, then
She will. Didn't She say something like that in the past few days? She
told us not to worry. It is all
according to God's plan.
Remember back in I think the 2000 Summer tour, She was in a lot of pain
because of Her neck. At one point someone brought Her something from a
yogi to take away the pain. She yelled "thief, thief" because the well
meaning yogi was going to take away what wasn't meant to be taken away.
Mother/God knows everything, including how Her life will be played out.
As you said, Avram, She has survived so many attempts on Her life. She
survives serving US! That may be the biggest challenge! :-) We should
do what Mother says, and not worry. I think She'll be around for a long
time.
In our Sweet Mother's Love,
Prasadini
PS. I was thinking last night that I should re-read Her biography. Now I
really think it is a good idea. There were so many attempts on Her
life.And She's still here.
I also remember reading somewhere that She said that there are celestial
beings who guard Her. Anyone remember that?
..
