A Taoist Lake
Below is a string of poetry from a MSN chatroom, A
Taoist Lake.
From: humbletaoist
The rain swept along driven by the tides offshore
Victorian gloom through which light cannot pour
Traffic clogged coming into town
Nine to statr work not 904
Another time another place, thank god there are more
My heart and mind soaring aloft
Because this place ain't home it's jist a bore
From: Indus
Presence finds an opened door
within the here without some more
nothing added nothing gained
given and given all the same
opened space emptying joy
stilled the waves of something more
space and space and space galore
love's blooming flower unadorned.
From: humbletaoist
God is it my destiny to go through life unnoticed,
over.
God is it my destiny to love again, over.
God do I have to keep forever trying, over.
God should I give it all again, over.
OF COURSE IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT
THANK YOU GOD, over and out.
From: Indus
Nowhere is here and nowhere is grace
love's opened door is nothing but space
empty and empty and empty again
grace into here
without beginning or end
reach into your pocket if you want some change
sending wave after wave
as mind slams shut that door
here is that space and here is that door
opened with grace forevermore.
The two eyes of ramana mask the eternal space, and as
always the two are drawn into one, the lost into
found, like sailors on an eternal sea. Ramana said
that the bone of contention in all the philosophies
was emptiness, and yet emptiness as love is only seen
clearly in duality, in the emptying of love into
itself, as if the empty space that pours into itself
cannot be without its reflection, its love. So yes
the whole of everything is self-love. emptying and
emptying and emptying again, this is why we are here,
all of us.
Love to you.
Michael
