Approaching the new year/ Jan and Gloria

HarshaSatsangh was established in a moment of inspiration at the beginning of
January, 1999. NondualitySalon was already in existence for several months
prior to that. We had migrated more or less from the K-List. The very first
messages to the list came from Jerry, Jan and Gloria I believe. Here is what
Gloria wrote

Ice Tree

Frozen light silvers on black lines,
Yes, this ice is on fire!
Steam smokes the tree's air,
Saying, "Here!" A distant sun burns time.

The satsangh bell rings anew.
First, hear it unto silence return.
If, for the eternal you yearn,
Ice on fire is one view.
