Question for Swamiji - Broken Mala

Swamiji, on thursday the mala i have used for several years broke.

it broke at the Guru bead. it is a mala that Amma blessed and put

on my neck the night i received a mantra from Her. i have hundreds

of thousands if not millions of repetitions in that mala and

consider it my most sacred possesion. but there's more to the story.

 

on wed. i saw Amma, as her tour is passing through the midwest. i

have long considered Her my Guru. i read Her quote of the day first

thing every morning when i go to the computer. strangely there have

been many occasions over the past few months where i have clicked on

Amma's website in my favorites and it mysteriously sends me to the

. and you and Shree Maa's group is the only group i am

a member of. because of little signs like this and through the

blessings of this satsang i really come to view Shree Maa and Amma

as literally the same. coincidentally on wed. i also bought a new

rudraksha mala that Amma put on my neck. i wanted to give to Shree

Maa and i put it on Her picture on my altar that same evening.

 

sorry to drag on but i don't quite know how to interpret all this.

to me, a mala breaking symbolizes the impermanance of life, Siva,

destruction for new creation. but all these events together make me

think there is greater meaning. for me the name is the only game

and i want to act appropriately. Do you have an interpretation? Do

i use the new mala with the same mantra? should i restring the old

and continue to use it? am i screwed? where there was one is there

now two(it did happen on thurs)? or is it just a big coincidence?

Hi i am currently a new user, infact i have the same problem the Mala that i was using broke while i was doing my mala on saturday ...i feel so sad and bad as this was given by my guru to me. I was doing the jaap and it just broke while doing my mantras, is it a bad omen or can i buy a new one as i dntknw how to do fix the mala.
