NEW YORK, March 28 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) has hired Krishna Memani, global head of credit strategy at Credit Suisse in New York, to head its team of U.S. credit desk analysts, the bank said.

Memani will be responsible for overseeing investment grade and high-yield desk analysts for cash and credit default swaps.

He will report to Derek Smith, head of cash and credit default swap trading for investment grade and high yield, according to Deutsche spokeswoman Michele Allison.

Bunt Ghosh, global head of fixed-income research and economics at Credit Suisse, will oversee Memani's responsibilities until a successor is named, said Pen Pendleton, spokesman for the bank in New York.

I think it is just general statistics. There are 1 billion Indians in the world. That means 1/6 of all great people, great jobs, great anything should be Indian. But the actual numbers are likely much less than that. So statistically Indians are probably not performing as well as they should based on their population.
