Today my grandmother was talking about the city of Dwaraka when i quizzed her on important places in Krishna's life like Vrindhavana, Gokulam, Hastinapura and Dwaraka.

Later on during the day, i decided to use the internet for some asnwers on Dwaraka. And i found the below links that contain excellent writeups, press releases, diagrams etc on this city that was recently discovered under water. Maybe you all know about this, but i thought I will share the links with you anyways. Lots to read!

atributetohinduism.com/Dwaraka.htm

s8int.com/water25.html

newstodaynet.com/01feb/ss1.htm

Also mentioned was the exact date of :

birth of Krishna - 26 July 3112 BC (midnight, so 27 July mentioned in others)

and

Mahabharatha took place on 22 Nov 3067 BC.

Regards

Manoj

Their is a plan to develop under water museum in Lord Krishna's sunken city of Dwarka by Gujrat Govt. I believe this will be a great step for Krishna devotees worldwide and a big step forward to save and project ancient heritage of Holy India.
