After so many years of chanting Hare krsna, have you become soft-hearted???

:) :) "Softness of the heart is compared with honey, with butter and with nectar. And the condition of the mind is compared with sunshine. As honey and butter become melted even in slight sunshine, so soft-hearted persons become easily melted. Nectar, however, is by its nature always liquid. And the hearts of those who are in pure ecstatic love with Krsna are by nature always liquified, just like nectar."

Hare Krishna

All glories to srila prabhupad

After so many years of japa we are not getting softheartedness because our chanting is not proper. it can taken as below.

i.e we are chanting the Hare Krishna Maha mantra 16 rounds regurarly in the morning in mangala arati or all day.isnt not. but my question is that how much times we would have been really doing our japa thinking alone Lord Hari.we are not doing it ! really when we chant the 16 rounds properly without deviation and thinking only Lord Hari. then that time we begin to be softhearted. and that time only you can think that everybody is part and parcel of the Lord Hari and everybody is a eternal servant of the Lord.

Hare Krishna

if someone is truly soft-hearted can he still be unkind to other Vaishnavas by being overly critical towards them?

If the other vaishnavas stray from their path, yes. Becoming soft-hearted doesn't mean you become blind to realities. It simply means you judge from compassion, rather than from contempt. Got it, prabhu?

what if their path is different than yours? what if it is contempt? what if it is done over minor issues? a lot of what ifs...

I rarely appreciate these overly critical devotees. They always seem to have an agenda.

Hare Krishna!

dear soul

do not be offended by critics or the the people around u....

if u give a mixture of milk and water to the swan it has the ability to separate them and absorb only milk leaving water behind.

one should only be concerned with what good one gets with a critic.rest of the bad or things done with contempt must be left behind for those who created it.

hare krishna !
