Indians are losing their touch with the divine because we give too much

importance to accumulating educational qualifications ,no importance is given

to religious education. What we need in todays world are people who are happy and mentally

strong rather than a bunch of weak kneed geeks who commit suicide at the slightest setback.

That is why India has not progressed to the level that America has and that is why you

find that Hinduism in particular is losing out.

 

Than God that gurus like Sri Sri Ravishankar are promoting Hindusim and trying to awaken H the childlike nature

in man!

Unhealthy and foolish competition in the academic field has relegated religion to the background.Today we have machines and not human beings!!!

so why aren't they weak-kneed geeks ready to commit suicide at the slightest setback? America is a very secular country with little necessary religious education, and since you gave credit to Americans, it makes no sense to say that India should follow the opposite of what Americans do.

Mahoney's on a mission to wake up his countrymen!

What he is saying is partially true, that India is focussing on the west to strengthen it's economic legs and thereby losing some of it's collective samskar but when it gets stronger materially I'm sure many souls from this great nation will realize the futility and emptiness of such pursuits.

The glitter of these willow the wisp mirages lose their attraction after surrendering your lifes energy to them for some time.

Just like Devdas and the prodigal sons of Krsna the proverbial genie in the bottle of Jack Daniels robs the spirit like a ghost in the night, whether you are on Indian or American soil.

Mahoney just doesn't realise there are guardian vaisnavas in India who are preserving the family treasure trove. If he wants real spiritual life, the highest divine conception will still be found on the soil of Bharat in the hearts of those dedicated servitors of Radha Krsna, like nowhere else.

 

When that dictator Aurangzeb threatened Vrndavan they just merely moved Krsna to Rajastan where He could be worshipped more freely, we have to just remain spiritually awake to see where Krsna is at any given time.

When the external opulence accumulates around our Ishta dev the lusty and envious exploiters try to capitolize on that, stealing the Lords energy, but Krsna is always many steps ahead of them. So no problems it is all in his hands.

He comes in a zig-zag coarse, unpredictable.

At present we can see He is exporting His ambassidors to the west like Ashwarrior and others to attract the attention of the lusty materialists to the Divine culture.

He is very tricky this most attractive one, He has many arrows and tricks in His quiver.

 

In the all out assault on the illusory energy He can even engage the illusory energy to defeat itself. such is the Supreme designer.

As the other guest rightly remarked I am saddened that we as a nation have forgotten our scripures completely and indulge in

blind and selfish idol worship without making the slightest attempt to be better human beings. A mentally and physically strong religious Indian is only going to make India stronger.

No need to ape the West in everything.It pains me again to note that Yoga and meditation assumed importane here only because the Westerners considered it a fad. I think the westerners are more into spirituality while the Indians are now more materialistic!!
