Guest guest Report post Posted November 6, 2004 Such thoughts would come for people who doubts The Supreme and for who speculates his/her mind based on the knowledge they have. For one who does not speculate, Illusory energy of Lord by Herself bless that soul. It all depends on what you ask for to the Lord. For eg. Gopikaas, Rukmini Devi all of them prayed to Shiva and Durga to attain Sree Krishna and they attained. Ravana also prayed to Shiva, but with different approach and not to reach Lord. Ravana was given all power and everything primarily to destroy him by Lord. So Illusory energy of Lord both helps the soul in reaching Lord as in the case of all the Gopikaas and also destroys the fallen soul by temporarily boosting its self ego as in the case of Ravana. By the way I did not mean Shiva or Durga as Illusory energy, but primarily all is under the control of Lord. So if SUpreme Lord wants to destroy a soul, then He does it in His own way. If He wants to elevate a soul, again He does it in His own way. But every soul is given the opportunity to realise that Supreme. During that realisation, and the actions succeding the realizations determine whether Lord would make them fall or elevate. This is my understanding. If there is anything better, please write.
