* Empty cups, filled cups *

 

Sadhu came to town

and he poured

a rain of

light and love.

 

Only cups that

were empty

and cups that

were emptied

were filled to

the brim.

 

But high and

dry were

left those

in which

conditioned

thoughts had

collected

forming a thick

mind set that

had made it

indistinguishable

from the cup.

 

God helps those

those who

can empty

their cups.

 

Can you

empty yours?
