Kulapavana 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 on one level the difference is in rasa: one addresses Lord Narayan, the other: Lord Krishna. you need to figure out which form of the Lord you are attracted to the most...
I_love_krishna_ 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2003 There are many vaikunta planets as there are many material planets in this material world. I think they say that Vishnu comes to you in the form you worship him. As far as I know, Narayana is one of those forms. That is all.
vanamali 1 Report post Posted October 21, 2003 You can call Him narayana, rama, krishna, padmanabha, venkateshwara, it's still the same guy. Whether you prefer to imagine him in his four-armed narayana form or in his Sri Krishna form, you can still call him Narayana. I don't think he would mind. Also, in Venkateshwara Suprabhatam, Sri Venkateshwara is called Govinda and Rama in different verses. I don't think it matters the name you use, he will know you are talking to Him.
