Planet earth in 2011

How do we see this planet earth in the year 2011 and the people living. Any body who can imagine? I think they would be living in The Golden Age. Fully enlightened, without suffering and in complete bliss.

...will be just like Earth in 2003. Full of contrasts, happiness and distress, promise and despair. What is relevant is your life TODAY, everyday. Do not waste a moment today, because 2011 may not come for you. Chant the holy name and be happy... today :-)

Then they will just imagine they are.

Suffering is not something you should fear and try to lessen, but it is something you should face with courage.

 

Krishna in Bhagavath Gita says: Happiness and distress, Success and defeat etc. are like the summer and winter seasons. They come and go, the enlightened are not disturbed by this.

 

So, there is no way to end the suffering in this world no matter how much we try.

 

What we can do is face them and take shelter at his lotus feet /images/graemlins/smile.gif - then we realize that the happiness that we were so desiring to have was right in front of us all along.

 

 

If the people in 2011 realize this, then they will certainly be enlightened. However, if we just speculate, it won't be enough. We need to do more than just mere speculation. We need to educate the society to bring it to a higher conscience.

 

Even if they don't listen we should tell them anyway. because, our control ends at the finish of an action, the proprietorship over the fruits is presented to the almighty.
