Sirona 1 Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Where can I find the Varaha-Purana? BTW, could somebody please explain to me what the term Purana means?
sushil_kanoria 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Hari Bol Sirona, Here in India you can get Varaha Puran from "Gita Press Gorakhpur". Puran means history, which has already been taken place long back. So whatever stories you find in Purana, it is not just stories, but actually had been taken place long back. Hope your doubt is cleared. Hare Krishna, Susihl
Sirona 1 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 In Prabhupada's Gita commentary there's a quotation about Krishna coming along on his "bird" Garuda to save the faithful. I am looking for the quotation in its original context. Any help?
