English) and try to match it with another incident

that all of us already know of?

My guess is this describes a cliff diver, climbing up, diving, hitting his head on the rocks, and then going into the water.

A research team went towards the top of a hill in order to collect sample of water in a large vessel of unspecified size. One member of the team fell down, seriously injuring the upper part of his body. After that, another member of the team also fell in the same direction.
