Guest guest Report post Posted January 23, 2003 So far there is no definite information (at least I do not know) about where the departed soul resides, after it gives up its mortal coil? How long does it reside there? Apart from suffering its Karmic reactions in the form of Prarabdha Karma, does it have to visit Haven and Hell before taking the next birht? What is the average time gap (in solar years) between the departure from one body to entering the next body? There does not seem to be much information about these aspects. I would like to know. Guest guest Report post Posted January 23, 2003 As far as i know, Karma is STILL in action even between the interval of death and rebirth. It is therefore karma that dictates not only the place of birth but also the time of birth.
