Raguraman 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2002 While reading BHISMA PARVA of Mahabharatha, I found that yugas are applicable ONLY TO BHARATAVARSA. Sanjaya while explaining Bharata Varsa to Dhritarashtra says that in Bharata Varsa four yugas exist. While explaining other regions he says no such things. Probably some body could post the translation for this part of Mahabharath. Also is it possible for somebody to explain different regions explained in this section (like Jambudvipa and its different Varshas) with respect to present day countries that exist.
