Hindu and American Indian culture?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

I have learnt that there are similarities between Hindu and American Indian culture. Can anyone shed more light on this? I was told that someone from the Bhaktivedanta Institute wrote a paper/pamphlet on the similarities between the 2 cultures. Does anyone know anything about this?

I believe that in American Indian culture, they also believe that time can be split into 4 yugas, represented by the 4 limbs of the bull. Interesting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Mr. Gene D. Matlock, who was quoted in this site, in the thread entitled "Who Was Abraham" (Viewpoint Internet Site)has studied the connection between the Indian tradition and the American Indian culture. Extremely interesting.

Search "Gene D. Matlock" in the Net, or the terms MEXICO and INDIA and CONNECTION. His reseach and philological intuition are impressive.
