Guest guest Report post Posted May 30, 2004 one question as it has been indicated that Brahma is the head of your sampradayam how come there is no reverence or worship to Brahma the founder of the gaudiya tradition. In the case not the case in Sri Sampradayam or Madhwa sampradayas, where the founders are offered prayers and obeisences first. In your sampradayam Radha has tarepalced the role of Brahma (as the mediatator). is this not being closer to Sri than madhwa system ? Furthermore no acknowledgement is offerd to Brahma or Madhwacarya as such the Gaudiya claim to Brahma lineage is very dubious and fraudulent. In fact Chaitanya was initiated by Isvara Puri and took sanyasa from Kesava Bharati who were both "packa" advaitins and traces Gaudiyas mayavada roots If the gaudiya is a bonafide sampradayam, then there is no need for such cheap publicity or constant proofs to claim legitimacy. Its only the illegitimates who make the most noise to establish their legitimacy .. and is oraed and all worship is
Pankaja_Dasa 1 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Hare Krsna one question as it has been indicated that Brahma is the head of your sampradayam how come there is no reverence or worship to Brahma the founder of the gaudiya tradition. Ever heard of the Brahma Samhita Prayers? Oh brother.
Guest guest Report post Posted June 6, 2004 Krsna also repeatedly claims that He is the Supreme in Bhagavat Gita. So by your standards He is also fake !!! Boy, what a wonderful understanding.........
Guest guest Report post Posted June 8, 2004 The discussion here is on sampradayam authenticity and not on Krsna's. The point is that there is no other sampradayam that goes all the way out (like the Gaudiya) to establish its authenticity, since they are able to trace their roots. The point is, only a false sampradayam such as the Gaudiya that resorts to cheap propogation, publicity and run down other bonafide sampradayams. Chaitanya precisely did that to his so-called guru parampara. He denounced them as Tattva-vadis, so what can be expected from his followers. How would someone who claims lineage to a sampradayam reject the tenets and philosophy of the origin guru (Madhva in this case) unless he is a mayavadi in disguies, whose real aim is to create spiritual havoc ... Now you go do your soul searching, be honest with yourself and dont get fool - its a case of the blind following the blind Hari om tat sat YRD aka SDD
Guest guest Report post Posted June 8, 2004 it is not a very effective argument "the gaudyas have a false sampradaya because they trace it" you have to demonstrate many things that you say here, the rejecting of madhvacharya teachings, the cheap propagation, the fact that other bonafide sampradaya are run down by spreading of gaudya siddhanta, the mayavadism and so on you have to do much homework to demonstrate your claims... otherwise your is blind following and blind insulting and the result will soon be.. blind falling jaya sri krsna
sefroth77 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 The last teacher was Swami Sirla Prabhupada, Who will be next?? any mention in the Scriptures???
Pankaja_Dasa 1 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 Vedas is huge.! Let me know if you find out, but we know qualifications Guru or Krishna devotee has, so theres no need for predictions so much, although its exciting to think...
Guest guest Report post Posted June 8, 2004 there's no need of mentions or prophecies... all the diusciples of a guru, if they are transcendental, are supposed to be his successors and there's not to forget that from bhaktisiddhanta sarasvati takura there's may other parallele branches that are growing all over the world together with iskcon
Guest guest Report post Posted June 9, 2004 ever hear of the nava prameya siddanta ???????????????
Guest guest Report post Posted June 10, 2004 That disciplic succession you gave includes Srila Prabhupada The one below does not have Prabhupada. The one below doesn't seem to recognise him, yet they are the 'Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Vaisnava Sampradaya'. Instead of Srila Prabhupada they have Srila Bhaktivedanta Vamana Maharaj. So which one is genuine and which one is false? http://www.bhagavad-gita.org/DiscipleSuccession/
Guest guest Report post Posted June 10, 2004 both are genuine... bhaktisiddhanta had many disciples and from them many parallel branches have developed so vamana maharaja was a godbrother of srila prabhupada disciple of the same guru, srila bhaktisiddhanta sarasvati... and this is bureaucracy, classification.. in reality it is impossible to find a gaudya vaishnava guru who does not feel himself in an inferior position in comparison with srila prabhupada hare krishna
