Christians claiming to see angels during near death experiences ?

i saw a television program the other day about people seeing angels in a near-death experience....according to the scriptures near death experiences such as this are very much true.

 

Does this mean that there are truly angels and possibly a christian god?

 

Vaishnavas claim that sinful people see Yamaraj's assistants at death. Then how can these so called christian meat-eaters see angels?

srila prabhupada said it himself, any religion that worships the supreme personality of godhead is a bonafide religion. they might be seeing one of the lower level planets such as muniloka.... or even vaikuntha.... many christians are very devoted to god which is why they can reach such elevation... but there are also reports of people seeing 'the devil' which is yamuraja

There are no angels. The mind will see whatever it wants to. This is a sicological fact.

 

Some people see pink Elephants.

If one engages in eating meat and killing cows they will be pulled out of their bodies by the yamadhutas.

 

Christianity is a cow killing religion. Angels are real but what the Christians see are simply dreams and hullucenations.

 

Angels don't come for the cow and animal killers.

It's true that anyone who sorships God is great.

 

But there is no God in the religions of the Yavanas. There is no mention of who exactly God is in the Christian scriptures. If so, please proivde the details.

Just as some go out on the streets of the most hellish cities on Earth and help the sinners and the saintly remember God so do other more advanced beings perform similar service by aiding people as they leave their bodies. Yes someone tried here to explain the similarities, but couldn't any justice completely to Lord Shri Krishna's life. There was a prominent distinction though - Jesus was killed by the demons and Krishna killed the demons!!

There is an informative small book written years back by one Swami Panchadasi, most likely out of print now, called Astral World, Its Scenes, Dwellers and Phenomena.

 

In it he describes the various scenes people experience when they first leave their bodies on lower astral planes and what it is like as the vibrational rate of the individual becomes more intune with more rarified staes as they progress.

 

Is living in a world that fits your imagination of what a world should be so hard for some of you to accept? Then how do you explain the one you perceive around you now? lol

 

Remember Krishna consciousness teaches reincarnation and a progressive evolution of the consciousness of the self as it moves through matter and not an instant hell or heaven scenario.
