Flaxseeds can be taken during fast eg navratras

Hi,

 

I want to know if flaxseeds are considered as Grain [anaaj, annnna]. If yes, then we cant have them during Fasts. If they are not grains then we consume them during auspicious fasts just like melon seeds are included in many sweets.
