Ganesha's curse to chandra : Please help to remove the ill effects

Dear All,

 

I have heard that we should not see moon on chadurdashi , whether it is coming in shukal or krishna paksha as it is considered as unaspecious due to curse of Lord Ganesha to Chandra. Now, if we have seen chandra on evening or night of chaturdashi any suggestions what shall I do to remove the negative effect of this curse?
