From my Episcopal memory has been a prodding - chrism - I googled

the word and found a few very fitting references.

The early councils of the Church have also references to chrism as

something set apart for sacred purposes and making for the

sanctification of men.

Eugene IV, in his famous " Instruction for the Armenians "

(Bull " Exultate Deo " , apud Denzinger, " Enchiridion " , p. 160) asserts

that chrism is the matter of the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Chrism, thank you for being here, it seems you are set apart

(another very biblical term) for sacred purposes and for man and

woman kind's sanctification and confirmation.

I for one, will second that!

Love, Grace and Peace to you Chrism,

Ray
