Flour? Irish Soda Bread (vegan)

How about whole wheat cake flour?  It has the texture of white flour but

there's fiber, not too heavy.

Interestingly most of the soda bread over here is brown bread so I would be

tempted to use half white and half whole wheat flour in this recipes. I'll

let you know how it turns out.
