Guest guest Report post Posted December 6, 2009 hi everyone, I found the receipe for tofu mcNuggets in the receipe files and I have questions: It says tofu, frozen and thawed, cut into pieces does that mean cut after I freeze or before? does the tofu have to be completly thawed out before I can use it? How long do I freeze it for? thanks so much everyone, Karen

Guest guest Report post Posted December 6, 2009 HI: I freeze, then completely thaw, then press out as much liquid as I can, I usually wrap in some paper towels then place something heavy on top for 30-45 minutes, then slice and marinate are bread. Guest guest Report post Posted December 6, 2009 It should be completly thawed before you cut it, when I didn't do that it fell apart. After you cut it, put it between a few pieces of paper towels with some weight on it for about 30 min-overnight. This is how I make mine before I coat and bake them. Guest guest Report post Posted December 6, 2009 thank you so much. I guess I better plan ahead to make this one. Not used to having to freeze tofu. Karen
