Recipes for slightly stale sweet biscuits?

Hi everyone,

 

I have some packets of biscuits that I've opened and not finished and now

they're no longer crisp.. no fun at all to eat like that..

 

Rather than throw them away I wondered if you had any good ideas for using them

up.. I know I could use them as biscuit base for something like sweet cheesecake

or flans, but living alone that's going to have to make a LOT of cheesecakes and

I have limited freezer space (I'm off grid)

 

I wondered if you had ideas for yummy recycling of these bikkies.. Some of them

have chocolate coating (digestives)

 

Waste not, want not! ;0)

I think you are talking about what is known in the USA as cookies?

 

Just wanted to clarify because you are going to get a lot more replies calling

them cookies as well. Not so many ideas from me, except for the one where you

could simply grind them up, add a little sugar/butter and press into a pie pan

to use as a cookie pie crust. Or a biscuit pie crust if you are Brit or Aussie.

What about some slices using them, although I guess that poses the same problem.

I made one the other day using crushed bikkies, condensed milk and clinkers

except I then found out clinkers are not veggie friendly cos they contain

gelatine.

You can refresh them in a low (250F) oven.

Not if they have chocolate coatings!
